Please write an indication of your question/comment in the subject line of the email so that it may be directed to the appropriate person easily. Contacting Other Gardeners
AN EMAIL LIST (on Riseup.net) exists for use by ICG member gardeners only. It provides for direct communication between gardeners: please use it to announce events, ask for feedback or information, share gardening advice, etc.
TO JOIN: If you are a member and would like to have your email address added to the list, please email ithacagardensboard@gmail.com with “Add me to Email List” in the subject line, and your email address & full name in the body of the message.

- Double-check that your subject line is clear & concise, so readers quickly see the message topic.
- If forwarding another message, please remove any extra info — blank lines, extra headers, etc.

HOW TO VIEW MEETING MINUTES and EMAIL MESSAGES archived on the Riseup website https://lists.riseup.net. Click on “First login?” at upper left (right under email address and password) and follow the directions to set up your own password. Once you have a login password (the email to log in with is the same one used to receive email list messages) then click on “ithacacommunitygardens” and you can view all the archived messages (see “Archive” at lower left), and the minutes in the various minutes folders (2016, etc.) within the “Shared Documents” folder (also lower left). You can also set it to “digest mode” to receive only one email a week, by following these directions:
- Login using your list account. If you don’t have one, fill out the password reminder form.
- Click Your Subscriptions at the top.
- Click on the name of the list you want in digest mode.
- Click on My Options on the left.
- Select digest from the reception mode pull down menu.
- Click update.
HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Go to the bottom of one of the messages you received from the list, and push the “unsubscribe” link — easy peasy.
